Hire our Event Space

Looking for a venue in Sheffield to hold your next meeting or event? Look no further.

The Event Space @ Harland Works is a unique, bright and versatile function room in Sheffield, and good news - it’s available to hire! Holding up to 50 people, our venue welcomes workshops, talks, meetings, classes, away days, parties, film shoots, exhibitions and pretty much anything else you can come up with.

All room hire bookings include:

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

  • Use of The Event Space kitchen*

  • Projector and screen (on request)

  • Use of the blackboard and chalk

  • Flipchart stand and paper (on request)

  • Extension cables

Room hire price

We know room hire can be expensive and often out of reach for small businesses and charities. We keep our pricing simple, clear and affordable. The Event Space is available to hire for £20 per hour and we ask that all bookings are a minimum of two hours.

We offer a small group discount rate

Don’t let the fact that The Event Space can hold up to 50 people put you off, it’s perfect for the small meetings too! If you’re booking for a group of 5 people or less, let us know in the notes box on the online booking form and we’ll take 25% off the hire cost.

Are you a charity?

To encourage charities to try us out, we’re running a promotion where we are looking for one event booking a month to give away for free to a charity (or social enterprise or other not for profit) who is interested in using us for the first time. If you’ve got an idea for a creative fundraising event or team development session, then we want to hear from you! Each month we’ll share the applications with our tenants here at Harland Works and ask them to select the lucky winner. Looking for catering?

Make the most of your time at Harland Works and grab a bite to eat at Harland Cafe, or order pastries and cakes for your event from our tenant 4eyes patisserie. We’ve also got Ozmen’s, the international supermarket, across the road and a Sainsbury’s Local just around the corner. If you’d like anymore information on these, just get in touch.

Please note: The Event Space @ Harland Works is located on the first floor and is only accessible by stairs. Apologies for any inconvenience, it's an old industrial building!

*The Event Space kitchen is equipped with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities (this includes decaffeinated and herbal supplies) as well as a fridge and microwave. To avoid waste we do not supply any fresh items, such as milk, and instead ask that you bring these with you (there's plenty of local shops nearby for you to pick up what you need). Instead of payment for the products used, we encourage our guests to make a donation in the St Wilfred's Centre collection tin provided.
