The second Sheffield Knit Social has arrived!
Our lovely tenant, Sincerely Louise (grand prize winner of the Etsy Awards might we add!) is holding her second Knit Social here in the sunny Harland Works courtyard. Whether you’re a newbie knitter or a proper yarnie come along and hang out, drink wine and eat snacks with some crafty people. Louise will be at hand to help with any projects and happy to teach aspiring knitters too.
If you’re a little shy about coming by yourself, don’t be, Louise is in exactly the same position having just moved to the city. She’d like to host knit socials regularly to meet new people and make crafty friends.
Time: The social runs from 6pm - 11pm (you can drop in or leave at any time)
Price: Tickets are £3. This covers the cost of running the night. Booking is essential as it helps plan the night - wouldn’t it be terrible if there wasn’t enough crisps or chairs for everyone! If you can’t make it on the day please let Louise know as she is happy to transfer your ticket to the next night. If you don’t turn up unfortunately the fee can’t be transferred.
What’s included: A glass of wine, soft or a hot drink. There’ll also be snacks. Bring your own knitting, crochet or even cross stitch to make on the night. If you need a new project there will yarn and kits available. You’re very welcome to bring a bottle, your own food, your dog, we don’t mind.
Where: Harland Works Courtyard, 70 John Street, Sheffield, S2 4QU
