Business Therapy - making business feel better
Hello!
As an established small business owner chances are, if you’re looking at this page, you may recognise some of the following symptoms: are you…
working too many hours for not enough pay in your business?
the person all the business depends on - either because you are the only person in your business, or even if you have a team, you are still the only person with all the necessary know-how to keep things running right?
wondering if you are suffering from a bit of burnt out because you lack your usual optimism about your business?
And would you like to change things so you are, instead …
working from a plan for profit that sees you earning enough to make it all worth it in 1, 2 or 5 years time?
able to take holidays / sick days off / work a shorter working week without a crisis, because your business doesn’t need you there ALL the time?
refreshed and optimistic about your business future because you have a plan you believe is do-able, and feel excited by?
If you see yourself in these comments you are a business owner who’s business is not working as well for you as you want.
The symptoms maybe varied (eg time/money/stress/work life balance ..) but their treatment is the same: it lies in digging into the underlying make-up of your business, identifying the pain points which are harming performance, and working out the simplest, fastest roadmap for the changes which are going to boost your business wellbeing - and enable it to deliver a better result for you! So in short, you don’t just need another business strategy to try - you need Business Therapy.
Sceptical? That’s fine. And it’s also ok if you don’t even feel that change IS possible - this is entirely normal and understandable. But if at this point all you know is that you don’t want to carry on as you are now and are looking for a better way then we’ll be able to help.
What’s Business Therapy? And how could it help me?
Good question!
Business Therapy is a 2 stage programme for small business owners. It is based on the approach taught in Gemma Went’s Conscious Coach Certification which has helped thousands of business owners shape up their businesses, improve profit margins and increase efficiency with tried and tested tools. This means that busy small business owners can significantly reduce how much time the business demands from its owners - and increase their profitability.
What does it include? And cashflow is tight, so can I afford it?
So, you definitely want to change things, but you’re not sure how. What can Business Therapy offer you that you can afford, and that helps.
As you are not the only small business owners with exactly this concern, Business Therapy comes in two parts, so if you want, you can make a limited investment in part 1 and see what results you get before deciding whether you want to go further with part 2. It is entirely normal to be concerned about investing in business development! It makes sense to go slowly.
So, let me tell you more about how it works.
Part 1 offers 3 services. No ongoing commitments required just a one off purchase. Yes - we have a payment plan as well if you prefer to spread the cost into bite size chunks.
In part 1 we help you:
review where you are
look at where you could be, that would make business feel worthwhile for you (exciting even!)
outline 3 alternative route maps for you to get from A to B. You choose the one that feels best to you.
Click on the images below to see more info on each of the services we offer in our first step. We start with a deep dive into your business with a Business Wellbeing Audit. We then look at what your perfect business would look like (time commitment, money, results for customers) if you had a chance to design it from scratch. Then we pull it together with a GamePlan. This builds on the work done in the Audit and the Perfect Business to create a bespoke route for you to get as quickly as you can from where you are now … to where you’d like to be.
So to sum it up - Part 1 services help you get inspired about the potential your business has to change for the better, with a bit of Therapy.
OK Part 1 has got me inspired - what happens in Part 2 of the Business Therapy program?
Any of the tools we offer in part 1 have the power to help you switch on some light bulbs so you see what to do to change things for the better. As a capable business owner, who’s already done the hard work in launching a business, you are certainly very able to take that inspiration and run with it on your own.
Part 2 services are there to offer extra support, if you need it, to make those changes along side support and accountability.
People are much more likely to succeed in change if they have these in place and the cost of these should be factored into your profit plan so you can see they are affordable.
About me
Hi, I’m Sophy, a busy small business owner with years of experience of fine tuning my own businesses so they are profitable and not overly demanding. I ran a consultancy before I had children, and when our 3 children were young, I switched businesses to a being a commercial landlord so I could earn while still being at the school gate for 3.30 pm and taking school holidays off. I also run a cafe and partner my optician husband in running a successful independent Opticians.
Doing it for myself is one thing but I wanted to learn how to be an effective coach for other small business owners and so I qualified in Gemma’s certification. And now I’m using her powerful tools to help business owners like me find quicker shortcuts to a better business balance in their life.
