My three kids of different ages and stages all really loved the Fimo workshop and it inspired several days of play around the little creations they made. It was tailored so well to each child there, and the lovely relaxed atmosphere and tasty coffee made for a brilliant morning. Thank you” Lynn, Feb 2024

Create a name plate

Book a place for your child for a 2 hour workshop with Nat from Upsydaisycraft. They will make a personalised name plate in clay which Nat will then take home and fire - they will be ready for collection from the cafe the following week. This workshop is a bit more expensive to cover the extra clay and firing process. A special chance to make something memorable and lasting with Nat’s guidance and help.

  • Thursday 4th April, 10 to 12 noon BOOK

More info

Our family activities are designed for children of primary school age accompanied by their parents/grandparents/carers. You will be able to take your activity to your cafe table and so you are welcome to bring other younger children in the family along but probably best not to assume children under 5 can do the activities.

Our cafe is very child friendly - please ask for our child menu or a high chair. We can cater for gf, vegan and veggie diets. More info: Harland Works; how to find us on google maps, more on our on-site cafe, John St Kitchen.

Lovely cake …and half term treats

And why not enjoy a half term treat, and have a slice of delicious home baked cake while you are with us? Goes very nicely with our award winning Dark Woods coffee!
