Wine tasting - Rosé

  • Harland Works 70 John Street Sheffield, England, S2 4QU United Kingdom (map)

A Rosé wine tasting is a fun and social experience that allows wine lovers to explore the delicate flavours and aromas of this popular wine style. The rose wines offered for tasting may range from light and crisp to rich and full bodied. Sarah Fairey our resident wine expert will guide you through the tasting, providing insights into the different Rosé wines.

Rosé wines may be the oldest wines there are as it is the most straightforward to make wine,  with some of the colour from the grape skin colouring the wine - but not enough to make it a red. There are still and sparkling rosés, and they vary from the very dry Provençal rosé to sweet White Zinfandels and blushes. They are made from a variety of grapes and come from all round the world - so lots for Sarah to choose from when picking the 5 wines for our tasting!

There will be cheese boards sourced from and paired by Cheese Factor of Chesterfield who will come up with cheeses to help balance the wines, and give you enough ballast to keep going with tasting all 5 wines!

Wines will be provided by Sheffield wine merchants Le Bon Vin.

Tickets available now £35
